Visiting Stonehenge

On arrival at Stonehenge, we usually recommend beginning your visit at the excellent visitor centre before heading out to the monument itself.

The visitor centre includes:

Just behind the visitor centre is a reconstruction of Neolithic houses, built using archaeological evidence from the period.

This small open-air exhibition is included with your admission and is well worth visiting.

The Journey to the Stones

From the visitor centre, guests can either:

Take the regular shuttle bus to the monument (approximately 5–10 minutes), or
