Let me just tell you, Oliver was awesome from start to finish. We hired him for two tours and transport to Heathrow during our stay in Southampton and after a cruise. I am always skeptical of reviews on sites like this, but Oliver is the real deal. He was prompt, professional and great guy all around. He has knowledge of the areas we toured, and his vehicle was spotless and very comfortable. Please, if you are thinking of booking any of his tours, PLEASE do so. Perfect coastal day trip
My wife and I wanted a coastal day trip and were really interested in fossil hunting at Lyme Regis. Oliver contacted us weeks out to confirm and inquire as to what we wanted to see. I mentioned Lyme Regis, as it wasn't on the itinerary, and he made it happen. The flexibility allowed us to tailor our trip to suit our interests. Oliver arrived on-time and his Mercedes was clean and comfortable. He was very personable and polite. We got to know a bit about each other on the drive to Lyme Regis, where the beach - obviously no fault of Oliver - was underwater. Fortunately, he was familiar with the area and said he knew of another spot nearby, where he used to hunt fossils in his youth. He joined us for a stroll down Charmouth Beach, where all 3 of us hunted unsuccessfully for fossils. But it was a very nice time. He joined us for fish & chips in another seaside town before moving on to Portland, Durdle Door, and Corfe Castle. The Jurassic Coast day tour still gets you to the rolling English countryside and charming, traditional villages, while still giving you the seaside attractions. Excellent ride from Southampton cruise terminal to Heathrow airport
Oliver picked us up at the Cruise ship terminal after we had a 10 day cruise on the Norwegian Dawn. On our drive to Heathrow Airport he brought us to many beautiful places in the U.K. First through New-forest where we saw wild horses, cattle, another animals. We drove down a World War II runway. We could still see some remnants of the original cement on the side of the road. Next onto the Pump Room where we had reservations for the Jane Austen 150th anniversary High Tea. Easy and Efficient Transfer
We booked this transfer from Heathrow to Southamption. We wanted to go to Stonehenge as our attraction, but our the time of our flight arrival meant that we were cutting it close to arriving before the last entry. Oliver was our driver and he remained in constant contact prior to our arrival. He was waiting for us at the terminal and we made it to Stonehenge with no problem. He is extremely knowledgeable of the entire area and provided us with a tour guide level of information. He is friendly, patient, and funny. Wonderful day touring from Southampton to LHR with Salisbury, Stonehenge, Cotswolds
We had a wonderful experience with Oliver! I told him we needed transfer from cruise to LHR hotel and wanted to spend to day touring - Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, the Cotswolds. I left the details and lunch stop up to him. We had a wonderful day. The vehicle was clean, the driving was safe, and the itinerary was perfect. I was pleased that, while we had hired a car and driver, Oliver did act as a bit of a tour guide - he escorted us through parts of the cathedral and Stonehenge, and provided lots of information on the places we were seeing in the Cotswolds (we didn't have time for extensive touring there.) A Bespoke experience to S&S by TT
Oliver was timely, courteous and patient with the tour. He gave us plenty of time to visit Stonehenge and Salisbury cathedral, and provided very interesting conversation during the drive about English life and politic.
